Grunds\u00e4tzlich soll \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit Aufmerksamkeit wecken, \u00fcber Angebote und Dienstleistungen informieren, Sympathien gewinnen, Unterst\u00fctzung sichern und die Bekanntheit steigern.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

\u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit von Bibliotheken ist das bewusst geplante Bem\u00fchen, Verst\u00e4ndnis und Vertrauen bei den Bibliotheksverantwortlichen und in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit aufzubauen, um ein positives Bild der Bibliothek zu vermitteln.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Die m\u00f6glichen Inhalte von \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit werden mitunter sehr weit ausgelegt und so werden immer wieder auch Lobbyingaktivit\u00e4ten, Marketingma\u00dfnahmen und reine Werbeaktivit\u00e4ten unter dem Oberbegriff \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit abgehandelt.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

In dem aktuellen Modul wird im Gegensatz dazu \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit als das angesehen, was es im eigentlichen Wortsinn auch ist. Nach der Abgrenzung der Themenbereiche werden Aktivit\u00e4ten vorgestellt, die auf eine Resonanz in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit abzielen. Im Zentrum des Vortrags stehen also Pressearbeit, direkte Kommunikation, Interaktion mit Stakeholdern, Social-Media-Aktivit\u00e4ten und Veranstaltungsorganisation.<\/p>
